What is an EdgeNode?

Get the most out of our software.

When we talk about assets or machines running EdgeOps™ software at the edge we commonly refer to them as an EdgeNode. An EdgeNode, for example, is an Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) connected to an industrial asset such as a production machine.

EdgeNode is responsible for time series analytics and predictions at the equipment level. The NUC connects to the machine sensors to translate and ingest disparate data, which is eventually displayed on a dashboard for user consumption.
